About the creator
Built from the mat and the operating room.
Alain Mokbel is a martial arts instructor and engineer based in Mexico City.
Budō Digital comes from firsthand experience—not from a generic software template. As an instructor, Alain understands that a dojo is more than a timetable and a payment list. It is a place where instructors develop people, students progress over years, families need clear communication, and every class, grading, seminar, and event depends on many small details being handled well.
He also understands the pressure behind the scenes: keeping attendance accurate, tracking rank requirements, following up on payments, planning classes, coordinating staff, answering families, preparing tournaments, and trying to do all of it without losing time on the mat.
As an engineer with two decades of experience improving complex operations, Alain builds systems that bring order without removing instructor judgment. The purpose is not to make martial arts feel corporate. It is to reduce unnecessary administrative weight so dojo owners, instructors, and organizers can focus on teaching, developing students, and running meaningful events.
That is why Budō Digital is building focused tools: Dōjō Manager for the ongoing work of a school, and Tōurnament Manager for the intensity and precision of tournament operations. Each is designed around how martial arts organizations actually work—not how generic software assumes they should work.
Based in Mexico City, Budō Digital serves martial arts organizations across the Americas and beyond.
